In another world first, leading Agricultural Electronics company Topcon Precision Agriculture has just added a 30 section Auto Section Control (ASC) to its market-leading X20 product range. ASC provides hands-free control of up to 30 sections for spraying, spreading and seeding.

ASC allows farmers to reach previously unheard of heights of efficiency in overlap reduction, missed areas and overspray. ASC allows the farmer to save on input costs and increase efficiency whilst being environmentally friendly.

ASC is one of the most significant developments in the evolution of X20 and adds an eagerly-anticipated additional capacity to the product.

ASC means that the operator no longer has to turn controls off and on at the end of each lap - regardless of the operation. The X20 automatically turns off sections to avoid overlap - using the information received via a DGPS receiver. The ASC takes over, ensuring there is no costly overlap, no missed areas, and total automatic control which frees up the operator.

X20 is rapidly evolving in terms of its technology and flexibility, and therefore its value to the producer.
